Harvest season is once again approaching quickly. We look forward to welcoming everyone this fall to enjoy some of our freshly pressed concord and/or Niagara grape juice.
As always, the Concord grape juice (pasteurized with no-sugar or preservatives added) is delicious and keeps well in the freezer, canned in preserving jars or made into jelly. The sugared variety is a favourite as a nice sweet wine. The Niagara (white grape juice) is great for winemaking, as it is an old style and best for off-dry to sweet wines. (please note the Niagara white grape juice is not pasteurized and has some preservatives (sulphite) added to aid with the short term preservation.)
It is always best to place an order for your juice to avoid disappointment. We do have limited amounts and sell out quickly once the juice becomes available for pickup.
Sadly, we will not be able to offer a pail deposit return any more. The price of the juice will include the pail, which is yours to keep and either find other uses or recycle. We cannot allow any “pouring over” of juice to other containers.
WE WILL ACCEPT YOUR PAILS FROM LAST SEASON (FALL 2022) AND REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF YOUR JUICE PICKUP IN OCTOBER. NO PAIL DEPOSITS WILL BE REFUNDED IN THE FUTURE.
We will contact you when your order is ready for pickup. For your safety and the safety of others, please use caution and be respectful while picking up your juice. We will try to serve and accommodate all customers in a timely fashion.
Please place your order, along with your 25% deposit, before Sept. 1, 2023 to help us plan quantities and guarantee your order. We are happy to take orders after this date, but cannot always guarantee the quantities. Deposits can be made by e-transfer, cheque or drop off at the farm in the “red mailbox”.
